Happy Friday
Me and Ariel went on a nice date tonight.
Errands at the mall, dinner at Biaggi’s , a quick stop for magazines (sidenote why isn’t there any good US-based web design/development magazines).
I’ve started this year kinda sluggish. Just kinda blah sometimes. I’m forcing myself to start working on some of the goals I set up for the first half of the year. It’s the...

Happy New Year
I hope everybody had a great holiday. Ours was quiet and chill. Just happy to have a little break, especially after the wild and crazy November.
NYE consisted of me and Ariel watching Aziz Ansari “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening” and drinking Adult Chocolate Milkshakes.
To summarize 2011: Pretty Awesome. Got married, new job being the big highlights but I feel I’ve...

I’m seriously considering starting a little Etsy shop featuring printable (wedding) invitations. Nothing major, something simple to start with.
Why?
When researching for the wedding we saw that quite a number of people on Etsy do it. There are some really nice invites on there but nothing quite like what I ended up doing for our wedding. I won’t use the exact style (because...

Reblog if you'd care if I committed suicide.
You got me in a bad spot here. On one hand, I would care if you were considering suicide and would want to help. On the other hand, doing it this way and asking me to reblog if I would care seems to me asking for attention in the wrong way. I’ve been there.
Maybe I’m over thinking this.

Birthday
It was my birthday on Tuesday. It was a low key affair.
Ariel got me the Momofuku Milk Bar book, Aliens: Infestion for the DS, and Xenophanes by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Group.
I’m still accepting gifts (wink wink nodge nodge)

I like Spotify but I don’t think I would pay for it. I like owning music and I like owning physical CDs. I actually liked the old Zune Music Subscription idea...

Bitches Brew is my shit.
Gorgeous.
Most Definitely.
I actually remember writing a mini-paper on the cover of Bitches Brew.
Belated Birthday Wish (it was Tuesday): A poster of the Bitches Brew cover for my wall.

Depression is humiliating. It turns intelligent, kind people into zombies who can’t wash a dish or change their socks. It affects the ability to think clearly, to feel anything, to ascribe value to your children, your lifelong passions, your relative good fortune. It scoops out your normal…

Radical 16-Bit Music Video Pays Homage to the Sega Genesis
This is “My Mega Drive” by 2080, a righteous little love letter to the Sega Genesis (known as the Sega Mega Drive outside the U.S.) in the form of a catchy chiptune song and 16-bit music video.
Aside from references to great games like Sonic the Hedgehog and Gunstar Heroes, there’s some slick-yet-subtle animation sequences like...

Quick Things
Enjoying the new job so far. I feel like I’m contributing and more than anything else learning. Technical skills, CSS comprehension is getting better.
Still making some n00b mistakes but it’s just part of the learning curve.
The last week I’ve been working on designing a wedding invitations/RSVP for someone (aka mine). I think it came out really good. Doing your own first both...
